FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Reserve Dreike Bouldin scored 20 points and had a key block in the final seconds to help Fresno State hold off Tulsa 71-69 on Wednesday night.
With Fresno State (14-9, 8-6 WAC) leading 71-69, JaVance Coleman missed two free throws with 10.6 seconds remaining, giving the Golden Hurricane (6-16, 3-10) a chance.
Tulsa's Brett McDade then attempted a layup that was blocked by the Mustafa Al-Sayyad. Deion James got the rebound and put up another shot in the final second, but was blocked by Bouldin.
Mustafa Al-Sayyad added eight points, seven rebounds and seven blocks for the Bulldogs, who lost to Tulsa 68-65 last month.
Jarius Glenn scored 18 points and Donovan Morris added 14 for the Golden Hurricane.
The Bulldogs led 37-26 at halftime, but Tulsa opened up the second half with a 14-3 run to tie the game at 40.
Fresno State jumped out to a 10-point lead just less than five minutes later, but saw that margin collapse in a hurry as a 3-pointer by Tulsa's Chris Wallace put the Hurricane ahead 60-58 with 7:53 to go.
