TU Women's Tennis Team Dominates Saint Louis, 7-0

Tulsa, Okla. - The 73rd-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team netted a 7-0 victory over Saint Louis on Saturday morning at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the TU Campus. The Golden Hurricane (3-0) will take on Wichita State this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
Tulsa's Agostina Santoro and Tiffany Smith tallied a quick 8-0 win over Saint Louis' Caitlin Bokulic and Lauren Page, 8-0, at the No. 3 doubles position. Kindsay Grimes and Daniela Muscolino combined for an 8-2 victory in the No. 2 slot, as Santie Delport and Thalia Diaz-Barriga registered an 8-3 decision at the No. 3 position to post a 7-2 record this year.
In singles action, Smith again set the pace for TU with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Bokulic in the No. 4 slot, followed by Santoro's 6-0, 6-1 victory in the No. 5 position. Delport netted a 6-0, 6-3 win in the No. 1 slot, while Grimes notched a 6-1, 6-2 mark in the No. 2 position. Diaz-Barriga earned the final victory for the Golden Hurricane with her 6-1, 6-3 decision in the No. 3 slot.
