Tulsa Women Finish Strong at Kansas State Invite

Manhattan, Kan. - The University of Tulsa's women's tennis team finished play at the Kansas State Invitational by winning four of its six matches in the hidden-duel format tournament in Manhattan, Kan.
The Golden Hurricane was led by Thalia Diaz-Barriga who wrapped up her second 3-0 weekend with a straight-set win over Tereza Prochazkova of Kansas State, 6-2, 6-0, to move to 6-0 in singles play on the season.
Agostina Santoro and Santie Delport each got straight-set victories to finish the weekend with 3-0 records as well.
Carla Zabaleta picked up a straight-set victory over Katerina Kudlackova of Kansas State, 7-5, 6-1, to finish the tournament on a high note.
Tulsa's women's squad will next be in action October 18-20 when TU hosts the ITA Regional Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
