Against UCA, TU out hit the Sugar Bears 66-53 in kills and in hitting percentage .222-.164. However, Tulsa also committed more errors than UCA, 57-40, for a difference of 17 points. Urnau led a quartet of Hurricane hitters to post double-digits in kills with 16. Senior Germana Hilario finished with 14 kills, just ahead of fellow senior Amy Meyer's 12. Nepomuceno also finished with 11 kills.

Silva reached the 50-assist plateau for the second time in three matches, finishing with 51 for the match. She also posted a team-high 18 digs for her second double-double of the year.
