Mobile, Alabama - Sophomore Larrissa Williams posted her fourth career-double as she tallied 10 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Golden Hurricane in both categories, but The University of Tulsa women's basketball team dropped a 42-34 decision to South Alabama on Saturday evening at the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Ala. The Golden Hurricane fell to 0-3 on the season, while the Jaguars moved to 4-0.

Classmate Teka Brooks also posted strong defensive numbers for TU as she brought down 15 boards, while Williams and freshman Tatum Beer each tallied two steals in the contest.

TU set a Mitchell Center record and tied the Tulsa school record with 64 rebounds in the contest, but had a hard time finding the basket, as the Golden Hurricane also tied the school record for fewest points in a half (12) and set a new school record for fewest points in a game (34).

The Jaguars were led by Patriece Bruner who posted nine points and 12 rebounds. Shakira Nettles also registered nine points, while Jeanette Tucker tallied a team-best four steals and three assists.

Tulsa will return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 20 against Arkansas. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Fayetteville, Ark.
