Tulsa Post-Game Notes vs. Duke

  • Tulsa is now 19-9 on the season.

  • Justin Hurtt had 11 points and now needs 17 more points to become the third Tulsa player this year to reach the 400 scoring plateau.

  • Tulsa's 50 points was the lowest scoring output of the season for the Hurricane, while Duke's 70 points was its' 9th lowest point total of the season.

  • Tulsa was averaging 43.8 points in the second half in five of its last six games coming into tonight's contest, but was held to just 22 points in the second half. Tulsa had been averaging 25.6 points over that same time span in the first half, and tonight had 30 first-half points.

  • Tulsa dropped its fourth straight game, the most since a four-game losing streak in 2005-06 season when the Hurricane lost four straight games -- at UCF, at East Carolina, #3 Memphis and UTEP.

  • Jerome Jordan had his 70th career double-figure scoring game and the 24th of the year.

  • Jordan jumped two spots into 12th place on the school's career scoring chart with 12 points tonight. He now has 1,391 career points to tie David Moss (1983-87) for 12th place.

  • Ben Uzoh has now played in 134 career games and ranks third on the school's all-time list.

  • Duke's 10-rebound advantage against Tulsa was the biggest advantage for a Tulsa opponent this year. The previous largest rebounding margin by an opponent was nine at UTEP.
