Tulsa Women's Tennis Sweeps Louisville, 7-0

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 37th-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team earned its eighth sweep of the season with a 7-0 win over Louisville on Saturday afternoon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Ky.
The Hurricane (15-5) won all three doubles matches to grab the doubles point.
35th-ranked JoAnne Karaitiana and Alexandra Kichoutkin defeated Mandy Brown and Amelia Harris, 8-3, in the No. 1 position, and Anastasia Erofeeva and Ewa Szatkowska clipped Kaysara Mandry and Jo-Ann Van Aerde, 8-6, in the second flight. Rebecca Row and Michelle Farley completed the sweep with a dominating 8-0 win over Sarah Miller and Stefanie Villajuan in the No. 3 slot.
Tulsa won all six singles matches as well highlighted by Rebecca Row winning her 12th-straight match with a tough three-set, 1-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (10-5) win over Ashley Irvin in No. 5 singles.
95th-ranked Alexandra Kichoutkin continued her strong play of late with a 6-3, 6-4 victory against Sarah Miller in the No. 1 position. Anastasia Erofeeva topped Mandy Brown, 6-4, 6-2, in the second flight, while JoAnne Karaitiana knocked off Amelia Harris, 6-0, 6-1, in the No. 3 position.
Ewa Szatkowska defeated Kaysara Mandry, 6-4, 6-2, in No. 4 singles and Michelle Farley came from behind to beat Gabrielle Duncan, 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-2).
The Hurricane returns to the court tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. (ET) against No. 41 Marshall at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
