Tulsa Advances Both Lightweight Boats to Grand Finals Tomorrow

Both the Tulsa Lightweight 8+ and Lightweight 4+ boats advanced to the Grand Finals, which will be raced tomorrow, at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.TU's Lightweight 8+ posted the fastest time in the first heat, clocking a time of 6:45.44, 1.7 seconds faster than MIT. The Golden Hurricane was also the fastest of all nine boats in the two heats.
The Tulsa Lightweight 4+, consisting of Angela Metzler, Patrizia Perazzo, Lauren Mann, Lauren Delucchi and Jasmine McGill, turned in a second-place time of 8:19.81 in the second heat to also advance to the Grand Final. The Tulsa time was the second fastest among both heats and the 10 crews.
