Tulsa Rowers to Compete at Longhorn Invitational

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa rowers are set to kick off the spring season on Saturday and Sunday, March 22nd and 23rd, at the Longhorn Invitational on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas.
The Hurricane will race three Fours and three Eights in the regatta against Canisius, Kansas State, Oklahoma, San Diego, Texas, UCF and Yale. Saturday morning races will be raced in a duel format, where Tulsa will take on host Texas, to set the seeding for the afternoon races. Sunday's races will be in tiers for all boats.
"The Longhorn Invitational is a great way to start our season," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "Our team has been having excellent spring break practices and quality racing is a good way to end the week. The team has been working hard, now it's time to put it into action. It should be a good weekend."
