Hurricane Rowers to Compete at San Diego Crew Classic

San Diego, Calif. - The Tulsa rowers will compete this Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, at the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay in San Diego, Calif. TU will race in four events, including the Varsity 4+, Collegiate 8+, Second Varsity 8+ and Lightweight 8+.
"The San Diego Crew Classic is a regatta that all rowers love," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "It has the right mix of pageantry and competition, and is always a challenge for this time of year. The team is really excited to go up against some really exceptional teams and we hope to make the Golden Hurricane Nation proud of our performance."
TU will compete against teams including British Columbia, California, Gonzaga, Iowa, Kansas State, Loyola, Old Dominion, Princeton, Purdue, San Diego, St. Mary's, Stanford, UC-Irvine, Victoria, Villanova and Washington State, just in the preliminary rounds.
