TULSA POSTGAME NOTES VS. USF

• Tulsa wore white uniforms at Tulane. It was the fifth time this season TU has worn white. TU is 4-1 in white uniforms this year.

• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard, and junior forward D'Andre Wright all started their 21st games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 16th game of the season.

• Harrison started his 88th career game, Woodard started his 84th career game, Wright started his 50th career game, Smith started his 49th career game, and Curtis started his 17th career game.

• Harrison has started all 88 games in his career, Woodard has started 62 straight games, Wright has started 41 straight games, and Smith has started 26 straight games.

• Tulsa increased its winning streak to 11 in a row. It is the longest winning streak since the 1999-00 team won 13 straight games.

• The Hurricane improved its record to 9-0 in American Athletic Conference play, and its home record to 9-2.

• Tulsa's 9-0 conference record is its best start in league play since the 1968-69 team started league play 10-0.

• Tulsa improved its record to 3-5 when trailing at halftime, 3-5 when the opponent shoots better from the field, and 3-5 when the opponent scores more than 65 points.

• It was Tulsa's first overtime game of the season, and the Hurricane is now 1-0 in overtime games.

• USF is just the second team to score more than 58 points against Tulsa this season in American Conference play.

• USF is the first team to shoot 50 percent from the field since Nov. 26, 2014 vs. Oklahoma State - 16 games.

• Tulsa has won 20 games in a row against conference opponents, dating back to the 2013-14 season.

• Tulsa's streak of 17 straight regular season conference wins matches the 17-game win streak over three seasons from 1918-21 as a member of the Oklahoma Collegiate Conference. TU won four straight to end the 1918-19 season, went 11-0 in 1919-20, and won two to begin the 1920-21 conference season.

Rashad Smith scored a season-high 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting. The nine made field goals is also a season high.

Brandon Swannegan posted career highs of 12 points and 15 rebounds. He matched his career high with five blocks. He previously scored 11 points at FIU (2-22-14), had 10 rebounds vs. UALR (12-7-14), and had five blocks vs. Old Dominion (2-15-14).

Rashad Ray recorded a career-high seven assists. He had previously totaled six assist on four occasions, most recently against Creighton (12-3-14).

• With 12 points, Harrison extended his streak of games scoring in double digits to 15.

• Smith is the first player other than Shaquille Harrison or James Woodard to lead the Hurricane in scoring since the third game of the season (D'Andre Wright vs Abilene Christian, 11-19-14).

• Swannegan recorded multiple blocks for the ninth time this year.

• Swannegan recorded at least one block for the 17th game this season. He has a team-high 34 blocks this year, and 103 in his career, ranking sixth all-time at TU. He surpassed Ben Uzoh (99 blocks - 2006-10), and Anthony Price (101 blocks - 2002-06).

• With 16 points in the game, Woodard now has 1,228 points in his career, ranking 20th on the Tulsa career scoring chart. He surpassed Dick Nunneley (1,213 - 1951-54), and needs 60 points to match Rob Washington (1,288 - 1966-69).

• Tulsa's 16-5 start is its best 21-game record since the 2009-10 team started 17-4.

• Saturday's overtime game was the 106th in school history. TU is now 48-58 all-time in overtime games. It was also the 48th overtime game at home, and the Hurricane improved to 27-21 in overtime games at home.

• Tulsa's last overtime game was March 2, 2014 - a 72-70 victory over UTSA.

• USF's Corey Allen Jr. scored 32 points - the fifth-most at the Reynolds Center by an opposing player. His 13 made field goals are tied for second-most by an opponent at the Reynolds Center.
