TULSA POSTGAME NOTES VS. TULANE

Tulsa wore gold uniforms vs. Tulane. It was the seventh time this season TU has worn gold. TU is 6-1 in gold uniforms this year.
Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard all started their 27th games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 20th game of the season. Junior forward Brandon Swannegan started for the third straight game.
Harrison started his 94th career game, Woodard started his 90th career game, Smith started his 55th career game, and Curtis started his 21st career game.
Harrison has started all 94 games in his career, Woodard has started 68 straight games, and Smith has started 32 straight games.
Tulsa improved to 16-0 when leading at halftime, 17-0 when it shoots better from the field than its opponent, and 17-0 when holding its opponent to fewer than 65 points.
Tulsa has 20 wins for the second straight year and 22nd time in its history.
Tulsa clinched a bye in the American Athletic Conference Championship, which will be held March 11-15 in Hartford, Conn.
The Hurricane held Tulane a .311 field goal percentage. It was 13th time the Hurricane has held an opponent under 40 percent from the field this season.
With 18 points in the game, Woodard now has 1,307 points in his career, ranking 19th on the Tulsa career scoring chart. He needs 22 points to match Jarius Glenn (1,329 - 2001-05) for 18th place.
With four 3-pointers made, Woodard now has 166 three-pointers in his career, and moved into sole possession of seventh place on the school list. He surpassed Jason Parker (163 - 2000-04) and needs six treys to match Ben Uzoh's total of 172 from 2006-10.
Swannegan recorded at least one block for the 21st game this season. He has a team-high 44 blocks this year, and 113 in his career, ranking sixth all-time at TU. He needs five blocks to match Steve Idlet's total of 118 from 2007-12.
Harrison tallied one steal and one assist in the game. He now has 167 steals in his career, ranking on the Tulsa chart. He has 301 career assists, and ranks tied for 12th on the assists chart. He needs nine steals to match Lou Dawkins (176 - 1989-94) for sixth place, and needs one assist to match Marcus Hill (302 - 1997-01) for 11th place.
Tulane's Louis Dabney scored 32 points Wednesday. He was the third opposing player to scored at least 30 points against Tulsa at the Reynolds Center this season. Tulsa has won all three games: defeating Missouri State, 74-70, on Dec. 17; USF, 78-71 in OT, on Jan. 31; and Tulane, 76-55, Wednesday.
