TULSA POSTGAME NOTES AT MEMPHIS

• Tulsa wore black uniforms at Memphis. It was the 14th time this season TU has worn black. TU is 11-3 in black uniforms this year.
• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard all started their 28th games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 21st game of the season. Junior forward Brandon Swannegan started for the fourth straight game.
• Harrison started his 95th career game, Woodard started his 91st career game, Smith started his 56th career game, and Curtis started his 22nd career game.
• Harrison has started all 95 games in his career, Woodard has started 69 straight games, and Smith has started 33 straight games.
• The Hurricane increased its winning streak to four games. TU has won 16 of its last 18 games.
• Tulsa earned its fifth win against teams ranked in the official NCAA RPI Top-100, improving its record to 5-5 vs. the RPI Top-100.
• The Hurricane won its eighth road game of the season and seventh in conference play. TU is now 8-3 on the road, including 7-1 conference road games.
• Tulsa improved to 2-0 in overtime games this season.
• Tulsa beat Memphis twice in the same season for the first time since 1970-71. TU also defeated Memphis, 73-55, in Tulsa on Jan. 21.
• Tulsa improved to 5-7 when trailing at halftime and 18-0 when it shoots better from the field than its opponent.
• Tulsa clinched at least the second seed in the American Athletic Conference Championship, which will be held March 11-15 in Hartford, Conn.
• Tulsa shot better than 50 percent from the field for the sixth time this season, and the third time in the last four games. TU is 6-0 this season when it shoots 40 percent or above from the field.
• The Hurricane held Memphis to a .426 field goal percentage. It was 25th time the Hurricane has held an opponent under 50 percent from the field this season.
• With 10 points in the game, Woodard now has 1,317 points in his career, ranking 19th on the Tulsa career scoring chart. He needs 12 points to match Jarius Glenn (1,329 - 2001-05) for 18th place.
• Harrison tallied three steals and five assists in the game. He now has 170 steals in his career, ranking seventh on the Tulsa chart. He has 306 career assists, and ranks 11th on the assists chart, surpassing Marcus Hill (302 ¬- 1997-01). He needs six steals to match Lou Dawkins (176 - 1989-94) for sixth place, and needs 12 assists to match Rod Thompson (318 - 1997-98) for 10th place.
• Rashad Ray made a career-high four 3-pointers in the game. His previous high was three 3-pointers, which he did three times, most recently at Houston on Feb. 5.
• TK Edogi scored a career-high eight points. He surpassed his previous high of six points, set against Abilene Christian on Nov. 19
• Ray recorded five assists in the game, and has tallied at least four assists in each of the last four games. He has totaled 19 assists and five turnovers in the last four contests.
