TULSA POSTGAME NOTES VS. UCONN: AMERICAN CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

• Tulsa wore white uniforms vs. UConn. It was the eighth time this season TU has worn white. TU is 5-3 in white uniforms this year.

• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard all started their 32nd games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 25th game of the season. Junior forward Brandon Swannegan started for the eighth straight game.

• Harrison started his 99th career game, Woodard started his 95th career game, Smith started his 60th career game, and Curtis started his 26th career game.

• Harrison has started all 99 games in his career, Woodard has started 73 straight games, and Smith has started 37 straight games.

• Tulsa fell to 22-10 on the season.

• The loss was Tulsa's first of the season when it led at halftime, and just the second loss when it held it opponent to fewer than 65 points.

• Tulsa outrebounded UConn, 40-28. It was the 18th time this season the Hurricane has outrebounded its opponent, and the seventh time is has done so by double digits.

• Tulsa was held to its lowest points total this season (42 points). The previous low was 45 points, against UConn on Feb. 12 at the XL Center.

• TU's four-game conference tournament win streak came to an end. The streak dated back to the 2014 Conference USA Championship.

• The Hurricane held UConn to a .362 field goal percentage. It was 29th time the Hurricane has held an opponent under 50 percent from the field this season, and the 16th time it has held an opponent under 40 percent from the field.

• With seven points in the game, Woodard now has 1,375 points in his career, ranking 16th on the Tulsa career scoring chart. He surpassed Herbert Johnson (1,372 - 1981-85) for 16th place, and needs 14 points to tie Marcus Hill (1,389 - 1997-01) for 15th place.

• Harrison tallied one steal and one assist in the game. He now has 179 steals in his career, ranking tied for fifth on the Tulsa chart. He has 321 career assists, and ranks ninth on the assists chart. He needs is tied with Dante Swanson (179 - 1999-03) for fifth place, and needs 12 steals to match Paul Pressey (191 - 1980-82) for fourth place. He needs one assist to match Jason Parker (322 - 2000-04) for eighth place.

• Woodard made one 3-pointer in the game, and now has 181 3-point field goals in his career, ranking sixth in school history.
