• Tulsa wore black uniforms at SMU. It was the 15th time this season TU has worn black. TU is 11-4 in gold uniforms this year.

• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard all started their 30th games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 23rd game of the season. Junior forward Brandon Swannegan started for the sixth straight game.

• Harrison started his 97th career game, Woodard started his 93rd career game, Smith started his 58th career game, and Curtis started his 24th career game.

• Harrison has started all 97 games in his career, Woodard has started 71 straight games, and Smith has started 35 straight games.

• Tulsa ends the regular season with a 21-9 record and a 14-4 mark in conference play.

• Tulsa finished second in the conference standings, after it was picked to place fifth in a preseason vote by the league's head coaches.

• Tulsa secured the No. 2 seed in the American Athletic Conference Championship, which will take place in Hartford, Conn., March 11-15.

• The Hurricane ends the regular season with an 8-4 record on the road, including a 7-2 road record in conference games.

• Woodard set school and American Conference records with 10 3-pointers in the game. He scored a career-high 30 points. His previous career-high 3-point total was six, set on Dec. 17 vs. Missouri State. His previous career high scoring total was 28 points, set on Nov. 11, 2012 in his first collegiate game.

• Harrison tallied a career-high nine assists. He finished the game with 10 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

• Tulsa made a season-high 12 3-pointers in the game. Its previous high this season was 11 threes at UALR on Dec. 7.

• The Hurricane held SMU to a .434 field goal percentage. It was 27th time the Hurricane has held an opponent under 50 percent from the field this season.

• With 30 points in the game, Woodard now has 1,359 points in his career, ranking for 18th on the Tulsa career scoring chart. He surpassed Jarius Glenn (1,329 - 2001-05) for 18th place, and needs nine points to tie Bobby Smith (1,368 - 1966-69) for 17th place.

• Harrison tallied two steals and nine assists in the game. He now has 174 steals in his career, ranking seventh on the Tulsa chart. He has 316 career assists, and ranks 11th on the assists chart. He needs two steals to match Lou Dawkins (176 - 1989-94) for sixth place, and needs two assists to match Rod Thompson (318 - 1997-98) for 10th place.
