Tulsa Women’s Tennis Team Travels To Face No. 36-Ranked Arkansas On Friday

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis team travels to Fayetteville, Ark., to take on No. 36-ranked Arkansas on Friday, Feb. 5, at the Billingsley Tennis Center.
 
Tulsa enters the dual with a national ranking of No. 48 and an overall 6-1 record, while Arkansas enters the dual with an overall 4-2 record. Last weekend, the Golden Hurricane upset No. 15-ranked Baylor in a 4-1 decision. After losing the doubles point, the Hurricane rallied back to win four straight singles matches to clinch the 4-1 upset.
 
On Friday, the Hurricane will face the Razorback's No. 27-ranked doubles pair, Yuliya Lysa and Shannon Hudson. 
 
The dual against Arkansas marks the beginning of a four-game stretch where TU will face four top-50 opponents. Next weekend, Tulsa travels to Lafayette, Ind. to face No. 41-ranked DePaul on Saturday, Feb. 13, and No. 45-ranked Purdue on Sunday, Feb. 14. The Hurricane will return to the Michael D. Case Tennis Center to take on No. 22-ranked TCU on Friday, Feb. 19.
