
Tulsa Rowers Kick Off 2016 Season Against Kansas on Saturday

The Tulsa rowers will kick off the 2016 season against Kansas in a scrimmage on Saturday, March 5 beginning at 8:00 am on the Verdigris River in Catoosa, Okla. The two teams will race in varying length pieces in Fours and Eights for approximately two hours.
TU will race for the first official time against Kansas State on March 19, before hosting MIT and Creighton on March 26. The Golden Hurricane will then take to the road for the only large regatta of the season at the Knecht Cup on April 9-10 in West Windsor, N.J.
Tulsa returns home to host the annual Lawless Cup on April 16 against SMU and the Stone Cup vs. Oklahoma is scheduled for April 30.
The American Athletic Conference Championship will take place in Sacramento, Calif., on May 14, while the NCAA Championship runs May 27-29 in Gold River, Calif., and the IRA Championship is June 3-5 in West Windsor, N.J.
