Tulsa’s No. 20-Ranked Men’s Tennis Team Travels to SMU

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team travels to Dallas, Texas, to face American Athletic Conference foe SMU at the SMU Tennis Complex on Sunday, March 6, at 4:30 p.m.
 
The No. 20-ranked Golden Hurricane enters the match with an overall 7-4 record. Last weekend, Tulsa defeated No. 31-ranked Washington, 4-1, before losing to No. 28-ranked Michigan in a 4-1 decision.
 
In Sunday's match, Tulsa will face Hunter Johnson and Nate Lammons who are nationally ranked No. 51 and No. 84 in singles play, respectively. In doubles play, TU will take on SMU's No. 18-ranked doubles team in Nate Lammons and Arkadijs Slobodkins, and No. 53-ranked doubles team Hunter Johnson and Yates Johnson.
 
­TU's Or Ram-Harel and Carlos Bautista enter the weekend nationally ranked No. 39 and No. 110 in singles play, respectively.
 
After this weekend's match against SMU, TU will begin an 11-match stretch taking on all ranked opponents. In the month of March, Tulsa will take on six nationally ranked opponents with five of them currently rank in the top-25.
