Tulsa Men's Tennis Featured in Initial ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of Tulsa Men's Tennis team was featured in the first Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Collegiate Tennis Rankings as released by the ITA on Wednesday evening.
Senior Or Ram-Harel enters his senior campaign ranked 46th in singles after going 2-2 in the Fall season that saw him in a matchup of ranked singles players, including a three set win over Georgia's No. 16-ranked Wayne Montgomery in the opening round of the main draw at the Saint Francis ITA All-American.
The sophomore doubles pairing of Francois and Okkie Kellerman come in ranked at 36 after a strong Fall showing that saw the twin duo reach the semifinals of the ITA Central Region Championships. Kellerman and Kellerman posted a 3-1 record in Fall play.
As a team, the Hurricane are receiving votes in the top-25 team rankings after finishing the 2016 campaign ranked 24th.
The men's team will begin play on Thursday, Jan. 12 as they play host to Wichita State at the Case Tennis Center. The dual match will begin at 6 p.m.
