As the 80th edition of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) concluded on Thursday night, today we take a look back at one of two NIT Championships won by The University of Tulsa. In this classic moment, we take a look back at the 1981 NIT title that Nolan Richardson's Golden Hurricane team, led by Paul Pressey and Tournament MVP Greg Stewart, captured. It was the 44th NIT and played at a time when only 32 teams were invited to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
