TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa volleyball team (12-6, 4-2) fell to Cincinnati (15-4, 6-0), 3-1, in an American Athletic Conference tilt in the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Friday afternoon.
Despite the loss, Tulsa remains a near flawless 7-1 at home in the Reynolds Center this season.

In the second set, TU began to find its stride, but dropped the set, 25-17. Sophomore Lindsey Ledyard made her presence felt in the setter role, tallying three assists to go along with a respectable five digs in the stanza.
Tulsa rebounded in a big way in the third frame, clinching the set convincingly, 25-17. Thorson racked up a team-high four kills in the frame, while the squad played well at the net defensively, accumulating six total team blocks in the set.
Cincinnati was able to outlast Tulsa's comeback bid in the fourth and final frame, as the Bearcats wrapped up the match, 25-16. Rachel Moore made her presence felt offensively in the frame, putting down three kills on a solid .333 hitting percentage.
With the loss, TU falls to a still respectable 4-2 mark in the conference. Junior setter Mariah Pardo managed to rack up a double-double with 12 assists and 10 digs in the match, while Thorson paced the Golden Hurricane with 11 kills.
