DENVER, Colo.– After the opening round Friday at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, the Tulsa women's golf team sits in a ninth-place tie with a score of 302 on the par-72 Highlands Ranch Golf Course.
 
Tulsa sophomore Taylor Dobson led the Hurricane on day one with a 1-over par round of 73 and sits in an 11thplace tie. Freshman Lorena Tseng carded an round of 3-over par 75 for 27thplace.
 
Freshman ShaeLee Scarberry and senior Johanna Samuelsson are tied for 49thpalace with scores of 77, while senior Olivia Jackson is in 74thplace with a round of 79.
 
Colorado State leads the field with an opening round of 286 at the 54-hole event, while Kansas is in second place with a 291 total.
 
Second round action takes place Saturday with the final round on Sunday.
