
Tulsa Volleyball Wraps Up Regular Season with Havoc in the Heartland

TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa volleyball squad rounds out its regular-season slate this week, as it travels to Kansas for a midweek Havoc in the Heartland matchup with Wichita State on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
The match features the Golden Hurricane (19-10, 11-6) and Wichita State (12-16, 7-10) in Tulsa's final match of the season at 7 p.m. CT in Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas. The match with be aired on Cox Yurview, as this will be the team's first televised match of the season.
TU managed a 3-2 victory in a five-set thriller earlier in the season. The win against the Shockers was Tulsa's first since 1998, and snapped Wichita State's 22-0 conference record since joining the American in 2017. The teams combined for 80 points in the first set of the match, which recorded the most points scored in a single set in conference history.
The Golden Hurricane owns a 13-30 record all-time against Wichita State, but is 1-2 since the Shockers joined the American Athletic Conference.
As a team this season, head coach Ryan Wills' bunch sits at fourth in the AAC with a 11-6 conference record. The team is on pace to finish with the second-best record in Wills five-year tenure.
