Tulsa Volleyball to Wrap Up Home Slate This Weekend

TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa volleyball team (17-8, 9-4) is set to wrap up its 2018 home schedule this weekend, hosting SMU on Friday, Nov. 9 and Houston for Senior Day on Sunday, Nov. 11.
The first match features the Golden Hurricane and the Mustangs (9-14, 6-7) in a conference matchup on Friday at 7 p.m. CT in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The match will be dubbed the We Win You Win VoGo BoGo match. With a win, fans will receive a coupon for a buy one, get one free ticket to Saturday's men's basketball game against South Carolina State at 3:30 p.m. CT in the Reynolds Center.
On Sunday, Tulsa squares off with Houston (15-13, 2-11) at 1 p.m. CT in Tulsa. Sunday will be recognized as Senior Day, as the team honors its two 2018 seniors: OH Emily Thorson and OH/MB Rachel Moore. The seniors will be honored with a recognition directly following the match.
Head coach Ryan Wills' bunch is nearly flawless at home this season, recording an impressive 10-1 mark in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The record includes a perfect 3-0 showing at the Tulsa Volleyball Invitational, six AAC victories and a non-conference win over North Texas.
As a whole, Tulsa is tied for third in the AAC with Tulane at 9-4 in conference play heading into the final three weeks of American competition.
