
Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Hosts Temple and UConn this Week

The Tulsa women's soccer team will host Temple on Thursday, October 3 beginning at 7:00 pm, as well as UConn on Sunday, October 6 beginning at 1:00 pm, with both games being played at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
TU has a 6-6 overall record, but started league play with a 0-2 mark last weekend. Aubrey Lechlider has a team-best four goals, while Reagan Whitlow, Mia Darden, Averee Dubach and Addyson Guthrie all have three goals. Ashlan Hustava has a team-best five assists, while Alyssa Kaiser and Neha Igwe both have three assists. Mica MacKay has logged 747 minutes in goal, picked up 37 saves and has a 1.61 goals-against average, while Jazmiera Ditter has logged 270 minutes between the posts, picked up 13 saves and has a 2.0 GAA.
Temple has a 3-5-3 overall record, including a 1-1 mark in league play. Gabriela Johnson has a team-best three goals, while Hailey Gutowski and Emma Wilkins both have two scores. Morgan Basileo has logged all 1,055 minutes in goal, picked up 77 saves and has a 1.45 GAA.
Tulsa and Temple are tied in the series, 2-2-1, but the Owls picked up a 1-0 win last season.
UConn has a 4-5-1 overall record, including a 0-2 mark in league play, but will face Memphis before making the trip to Tulsa. The Huskies are led by Kess Elmore with four goals, while eight others have one goal. Randi Palacios has played all 924 minutes in goal this season, picking up 52 saves and owning a 1.27 GAA.
UConn has a 4-1-1 lead in the all-time series with Tulsa, but the Golden Hurricane captured a 3-0 win last season.
