THE GAME
• This is the sixth meeting between Tulsa and Arkansas State.
• The game is the second home game of a three-game home stand in the month of December for the Hurricane.
• The Red Wolves are 6-2 on the season … Arkansas State comes into Saturday's contest with key wins over Colorado State and Idaho ... their two losses on the season have come at the hands of Ole Miss and Stephen F. Austin.
THE SERIES
• Tulsa has a 5-0 series lead against the Red Wolves of Arkansas State.
• The last meeting between the two teams came in 2007-08 season as the Hurricane drew the 75-59 win at the Reynolds Center.
• The first game between the two teams came in the1971-72 season as Tulsa defeated Arkansas State at home with a final of 86-60.
Last Meeting
• In contest on Nov. 16, 2007, sophomore Jerome Jordan and freshman Glenn Andrews led the way for Tulsa both scoring 14 points.
• Tulsa crashed the boards outrebounding the Red Wolves 43-27 ... Calvin Walls put in a career-high 15 rebounds during the game.
• The Hurricane locked down the Red Wolves leading scorer, Adrian Banks, holding him to only 11 points in the contest ... Arkansas State was led in scoring by Ryan Wedel who had 16.
THE LAST HOME GAME
• Tulsa moved to 6-0 at home this season with a 72-39 win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019.
• Off of the bench, Jeriah Horne matched his season-high in points with 22 on 8-10 shooting ... he would make 4-5 three pointers while also leading the team with 8 rebounds.
•Tulsa ended with 10 players scoring ... with two in double figures ... Horne (22) and Rachal (10)
• In the first half, Tulsa held the Golden Lions to 16 points on 6-23 shooting (26.1) ... UAPB would finish 14-43 (32.6) from the field and 3-13 (23.1) from the three-point line.
• It was the third time in the Haith era that Tulsa has held an opponent to 39 points or less ... the first two times came in the 2014-15 season against Abilene Christian (39) and Auburn (35).
• Tulsa shot the ball well from behind the three-point line the entire night going 10-21 (47.6) ... Horne (4-5) and Korita (3-6) both led the Hurricane from behind the arc.
• The Hurricane forced 24 turnovers scoring 27 points off of them.

• Arkansas State was picked to finish 10th in The Sun Belt Conference.
• Arkansas State finished last season going 13-19 overall and 7-12 in Sun Belt play losing in the first round of their conference tournament to South Alabama.
• Arkansas Statecomes into Wednesday's matchup following a 78-73 win at home against Omaha... they were led by Jerry Johnson and Caleb Fields combining for 38 points off of the bench.
