TULSA, Okla. - For the second straight weekend, the Tulsa men's tennis team will play a doubleheader, as Bryant comes to town on Sunday. The Golden Hurricane (2-0) will play the first dual at 2:30 p.m., followed by the second dual around 5 p.m.

This is third consecutive season that TU has hosted the Bulldogs (0-0). The Hurricane defeated the Bulldogs 4-2 in 2018, before blanking them in 2019, 7-0.

While Tulsa has had its way against Bryant, the Bulldogs are one of the top programs in the Northeast. The Bulldogs have won six straight Northeast Conference Tournament titles.

Sunday's matches will mark third and fourth contests of a 10-match road trip throughout Oklahoma and Colorado. Bryant is scheduled to play Lamar this morning in Stillwater, followed by 15th-ranked Oklahoma State in the nightcap.

Should TU pick up a pair of wins this weekend, it will be the first time since 2014 that the Hurricane have started a season at 4-0.

Next weekend, Tulsa will compete in the ITA Kick-Off at Ohio State. Competition begins on Saturday, January 25, as the Hurricane take on Utah at 12 noon. Depending on the outcome, the Hurricane will either face Purdue or the sixth-ranked Buckeyes the next day.
