
Tulsa Drops Friday Night Match to Cincinnati in Four Sets

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa volleyball team lost to Cincinnati in four sets Friday night 25-23, 23-25, 25-13, 25-19. Tulsa drops to 9-7 overall, 4-3 in American Athletic Conference play, while Cincinnati improves to 11-4, 6-1 in conference.
After splitting the first two sets of the match, the Bearcats found their rhythm, using a 9-3 run to take the pivotal third set 25-13 before wrapping the match up in four.
Avery Kalsu, who was named to the AAC Honor Roll last week, assisted 33 Tulsa kills while recording 20 digs.
Kayley Cassaday tallied a team-high 13 kills on the night, while Aysu Dalogullari contributed 11.
Tulsa will look to bounce back against East Carolina on Sunday at 1 pm.
