Tulsa split last week's matches, dropping a heartbreaker in five sets to Wichita State before bouncing back with a sweep against Temple. Tulsa currently sits at 13-12 overall, and 8-8 in American Athletic Conference play, slotting them at 7th in the conference standings, but just two games back of 4th.

Kayley Cassaday continued her impressive junior campaign last week, notching American Athletic Conference Honor Roll honors for a second time this season. The Overland Park, Kansas native tallied 40 kills over the two matches, and was fourth in the AAC in points-per-set last week (5.0).

Roosa Rautio has also had a massive impact since being inserted back into the starting lineup on November 5th against Tulane. The senior recorded back-to-back 40 plus assist matches last week, posting a season-best 47 in the Wichita State match before tallying 14.33 assists per set against Temple with 43. Rautio has accounted for 87.5% of Tulsa's assists the past four matches.

When Tulsa and ECU square off on Friday, it'll be the 24th time historically the two programs have met, and the second time this season. The Hurricane won in four sets back on October 17th and lead the all-time series 21-2.

Tulsa and Cincinnati will compete for the 14th time ever, and second time this season. The Bearcats downed Tulsa in four sets on October 15th and have an advantage in the all-time series 10-3.
