
Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts Temple on Saturday

The Tulsa men's soccer team will host Temple on Saturday, March 13 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
The game is not open to the general public, but catch the action live on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball this year. The Golden Hurricane has a 2-1 mark on the season and is looking to bounce back after a 2-1 loss at USF last week. Alex Meinhard has scored a team-leading three goals on the year, while Luke Jeffus and Ben Barkley each have one score. Lucas Cline has logged all 270 minutes in goal, picked up 11 saves for a 0.786 saves percentage and owns a 1.0 goals-against average.
Temple has a 2-3 overall record this season, beating USF (3-2) and SMU (2-0) and falling to UCF (1-0), Memphis (2-1 2OT) and USF (2-1). Four Owls have scored a goal this season, including two each by Mike Eijgendaal, Amir Cohen and Jalen Campbell, while Pierre Cayet has one score. Nikolas Hartmann and Eion Gawronski have combined for 22 saves for a 0.759 saves percentage and have allowed seven goals for a 1.34 goals-against average.
The Tulsa-Temple series is tied at 2-2-2, including a 0-0 double-overtime tie in 2019.
