Tulsa’s Patrick Dever Named The American Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

Patrick Dever was named as the American Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, as announced today by the league office.
 
Dever tallied a personal-best, program-best and top mark with a time of 13:28.08 in the 5,000m Run Invitational at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.  TU's previous school record was 13:36.81 set by Marc Scott in 2015, a record Dever shattered by more than eight seconds.
