The Tulsa rowing team will host Creighton in the Lawless Cup on Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 am at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest in Catoosa, Okla. (4001 North Highway 66, Catoosa, OK 74115).

"We are excited that Creighton could make the trip down to the Verdigris for racing this year," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. Â "We have contested the Lawless Cup off and on for almost 17 years and it's always great to race the Bluejays. Â This will be both of our teams last trip down the course before we travel to conference championships so it's an important marker for both of us. Â The Golden Hurricane is ready to improve our speed and go after the win."
The three teams will race four events, including a Varsity 4+, 2nd Varsity 4+, Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 8+ race. The last race, the 2nd Varsity 8+, is slated for 9:30 am.
Fans that come to the regatta are reminded to wear a mask and keep their distance. There will also be a Special Olympics event held at Rogers Point Park at the same time.
