Tulsa Rowing Hosts Kansas State and Central Oklahoma on Saturday

The Tulsa rowing team will play host to Kansas State and Central Oklahoma on Saturday, April 10 beginning at 9:30 am at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest in Catoosa, Okla. (4001 North Highway 66, Catoosa, OK 74115).
The three teams will race four events, including a Varsity 4+, 2nd Varsity 4+, Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 8+ race. The last race, the Varsity 8+, is slated for 10:30 am.
"It's been a long time since we have been able to host a home regatta on our water in Catoosa," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "We are very excited to welcome Kansas State and the University of Central Oklahoma back to Catoosa and to see racing on the Verdigris again this year. These are two great teams. UCO is the defending NCAA Division II champions and K-State has been surging in a tough Big XII Conference. We know it's going to be a challenge, but we are grateful for the opportunity."
