
Tulsa Volleyball Knocks Off Houston in Five Set Thriller

HOUSTON, Texas ― After dropping the opening set 25-13, the Tulsa volleyball team stormed back, knocking off Houston in five sets, 13-25, 25-22, 25-23, 13-25, 15-12. The Golden Hurricane improve to 6-4 on the year, 1-0 in American Athletic Conference play while the Cougars drop to 10-3 overall, 0-1 in AAC play.

"This was a huge road win for us," head coach Ryan Wills said. "It was a total team effort and a lot of different people stepped up in different ways. I'm proud of our fight tonight."

Tulsa will continue the weekend roadtrip on Sunday, September 26 against Tulane at 2 pm in New Orleans, Louisiana.
