TULSA, Okla. ― Tulsa men's tennis will begin the spring season at home as the Golden Hurricane will host the Cal Golden Bears on Saturday, January 15, at 6 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Hurricane return eight letterwinners from last season's team, while adding Adham Gaber, a transfer from Southwest Baptist, as the lone newcomer.

Tulsa's tandem of Connor Di Marco and Kody Pearson are ranked 60th in the recent ITA Doubles Rankings. The duo, who earned AAC All-Conference honors a season ago, went 2-2 during the fall season.

Ezequiel Santalla and Stefan Hampe both turned in impressive fall campaigns. Santalla posted an 8-2 record and advanced to the semi-finals of the ITA Central Regionals last October, while Hampe went 6-2 in singles play.

Cal has two duos ranked in the most recent ITA doubles poll, as the pair of Yuta Kikuchi and Carl Emil Overbeck are ranked 15th while Kikuchi and Philip Hjorth are at No. 58. The Golden Bears are led by first-year head coach Kris Kwinta.

All matches will be played indoors and can be streamed on streamingtennis.com/tulsa/.
