The Tulsa women's basketball team earned a 74-44 win over San Jose State on Thursday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Golden Hurricane moved to 2-0 on the season, while the Spartans fell to 0-1 overall.
"It was definitely a balanced team attack," Head Coach Angie Nelp said. "We saw some pressure that we didn't in the first game and I felt like we had too many turnovers, but we were able to get the ball into the paint and score. We try not to foul, but hats off to San Jose State. They were aggressive and they got us in foul trouble, but we had great bench production in Delanie Crawford and Ahrray Young so that was good to see."
Tulsa will return to action on Monday, November 14 at Arkansas beginning at 7:00 pm at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Ark.
How it Happened
