Tulsa Women’s Tennis Ranked 19 in Latest ITA Rankings

TULSA, Okla. ― After starting the season 7-2, the Tulsa women's tennis team cracked the top-20 of today's ITA computerized rankings, debuting at No. 19. The Hurricane are the highest-ranked AAC team, and are ahead of notable teams such as Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Texas Tech.
Tulsa is 2-2 against the rest of the ranked field, and has posted wins over No. 30 Kansas and No. 35 Oregon so far this season while being 5-0 inside the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The Hurricane's two losses came to North Carolina and Oklahoma State, who are ranked No. 1 and No. 10, respectively.
Tulsa will look to continue its impressive start to the season this Sunday at 11 a.m. when AAC foe Memphis comes to the Case Tennis Center. The Tigers checked in at No. 70 in today's rankings.
