Tulsa Falls to No. 3 Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. ― The Tulsa women's tennis team dropped Thursday morning's matchup against No. 3 Oklahoma 4-0. The Hurricane fall to 9-5 this spring.
Oklahoma won the doubles point, winning at No. 1 and 3 doubles before rolling its momentum into wins at No. 2, 3, and 4 singles. The Sooners improve to an impressive 17-1 on the season.
Laia Conde Monfort/Shura Poppe showed fight at No. 2 doubles, battling the No. 68 ranked tandem in the nation, and were down 4-3 when the doubles point was clinched. Valeriya Rozenkova went back and forth with Dana Guzman of Oklahoma at No. 4 singles, dropping the first match 7-5 but tied in the second 1-1 when OU clinched the victory.
Tulsa will return home on Sunday, March 20th at 11 a.m. against South Florida at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Admission to all home matches is free!
