TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa men's tennis team collected its first road win of the season against opponent Thursday, downing Wichita State for a second time this season. The Hurricane improve to 12-9 overall this season.
Tulsa won the doubles point for the third-straight match, as the tandem of Adham Gaber/Ezequiel Santalla won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles for their third consecutive doubles win and clinched the point. Callum Gale/Daniel Siddall, playing together for the first time this season, won 6-3 at No. 3 doubles.
Santalla, Gale, and Siddall rolled their momentum into singles play, as the trio posted straight set wins that gave Tulsa its 12th victory of the spring.
Tulsa will quickly turn its attention to No. 17 Middle Tennessee State, who the Hurricane play tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Wichita.
