Box Score 2021-22 Tulsa Women's Tennis Season Stats

TULSA, Okla. ― The 48^th ranked Tulsa women's tennis team posted its ninth shutout of the victory Friday evening, downing No. 73 Denver 4-0 for its first ranked win of the season. The Hurricane improve to 14-7 overall, and 11-3 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

TU claimed the doubles point to start the match, as Lily Hutchings/Ana Naranjo Martinez improved their win streak to five with a 6-3 at No. 3 singles before Maria Berlanga/Valeriya Rozenkova claimed a 6-4 win at No. 1 singles to clinch the opening point. Tulsa is 41-12 in doubles this spring.

Laia Conde Monfort was the first to win in singles, winning 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Monfort is now 11-3 at No. 1 singles and has won four straight. Berlanga followed her up with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles while Naranjo closed out the win at No. 6 singles, 7-6, 6-2.

Tulsa will conclude its regular season on Sunday for senior day at 1 p.m. when the Hurricane host Temple before the American Athletic Conference Championship next week.
