Tulsa Rowing Set to Race in The American Championship

The Tulsa rowing team is set to race in the American Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday, May 15 at Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn. 
 
Old Dominion, Sacramento State, SMU, Temple, Tulsa and UCF will compete in three scored events, including the Varsity 4+, Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 8+, while a 2nd Varsity 4+ race will also take place.
 
Fans can watch the races on ESPN+.
 
The American's team champion will earn automatic qualification to the 2022 NCAA Rowing Championships, to be held May 27-29 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla.
 
Order of Events
Second Varsity 4 – 9 a.m. ET/8 a.m. CT
Varsity 4 – 9:15 a.m. ET/8:15 a.m. CT
Second Varsity 8 – 9:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. CT
Varsity 8 – 9:45 a.m. ET/8:45 a.m. CT
* Awards ceremony approximately 45 minutes after last race
