Tulsa Men’s Tennis Back in Stillwater for ITA Central Regional Championships

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa men's tennis team will head back to Stillwater, Okla., to compete in the ITA Men's Central Regional Championships from Wednesday, Oct. 18, through Sunday, Oct. 22, hosted by Oklahoma State at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
The tournament, featuring nearly 100 athletes from 14 schools, will include singles and doubles play with consolation brackets for both draws.
The Golden Hurricane will send seven athletes to the five-day event. Pairing up in doubles play will be sophomore Timothy Carlsson Seger and senior Pierce Rollins, along with the duo of freshman Alex Okonkwo and senior Callum Gale and the freshman tandem of Gus Tettamble and Victor Tosetto.
Singles play will showcase all seven of TU's entrants in the tournament, including senior Volodymyr Zakharov. He and Rollins are two of 29 seeded individuals granted a first-round bye in the singles bracket. Kicking off the tournament will be Okonkwo and Tosetto, who face their singles opponents at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
