Tulsa Hosts Dale McNamara Invitational Monday-Tuesday

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa women's golf team hosts the Dale McNamara Invitational this Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 9-10, at the Golf Club of Oklahoma.
The tournament is open with FREE Admission to the general public.
Tulsa looks to defend its title from a year ago when the Golden Hurricane claimed a one-stroke victory over Nebraska. This year's 14-team field includes Abilene Christian, Arkansas State, BYU, Cal Poly, Colorado State, Kennesaw State, Nebraska, Oklahoma City, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston, South Florida, Southern Miss, UTSA and host Tulsa.
The Golf Club of Oklahoma course plays to a par 72 and 6,242 yards. Teams will tee-off on Monday at 8:30 am with a shotgun start and play 36 holes. The third and final round will take place on Tuesday.
Tulsa is coming off a seventh-place performance at the Schooner Fall Classic as Lily Thomas finished in second place individually with an 8-under total of 202. Freshman Allyn Stephens was second on the Tulsa leaderboard with a 3-over par 213 and sophomore Grace Kilcrease finished in 34th place with a 214 score.
Sydney Seigel and Jenni Roller round out the team of five for the Hurricane. Lovisa Gunnar, Norah Seidl and Hanna Robinett will play as individuals.
At last year's Dale McNamara Invitational played at Cedar Ridge Country Club, Gunnar placed second overall, Kilcrease finished in sixth place and Thomas and Seigel placed 10th and 16th, respectively.
