TULSA, Okla. —
The University of Tulsa men's tennis team (7-8) returns home to host No. 43 Tulane (10-7) at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Friday, Mar. 24, at 11 a.m. Then, the Golden Hurricane will head to Norman for an in-state showdown with No. 44 Oklahoma (8-7) on Sunday, Mar. 26, at 5 p.m.
 
The Tulane match will stream on Track.Tennis, and the Oklahoma match will be available on the Sooners' PlaySight stream.
 
The 10-7 Green Wave are coming off a 1-2 performance at the San Diego Invitational last week, where they took a 4-3 loss to No. 34 VCU (12-4), earned a 4-0 sweep over San Diego State (1-9) and suffered a 4-0 blank by No. 27 San Diego (12-5). Tulane is 2-5 on the road this season and 4-3 against nationally ranked opponents.
 
Against Tulane, Tulsa has won seven of the last 12 meetings. Last year, the Green Wave captured a 4-2 win over the Hurricane in New Orleans. Tulsa took revenge with a 4-0 sweep over Tulane in the first round of The American Championships.
 
Fynn Kuenkler headlines the lineup for Tulane. Ranked No. 114 in the latest ITA singles rankings, he is 5-8 at the No. 1 position and 1-3 against ranked opponents.
 
In their last appearance on the courts on Mar. 13, the 8-7 Sooners took a 4-1 road loss to No. 27 San Diego (12-5). Oklahoma is 6-2 at home and 2-5 against nationally ranked teams.
 
Last year, the Hurricane toppled the Sooners 6-1 at home. OU grabbed the doubles point, but TU swept the lineup in singles action.
 
Nathan Han highlights Oklahoma's lineup. With a singles ranking of 121, he is 21-8 overall, 10-3 in dual matches and 8-3 in the No. 3 and No. 4 positions.
 
Senior Kody Pearson reached a new season-high singles ranking of 28 in the latest ITA poll—only two spots away from his career-best rank of 26 set in the first spring singles ranking of 2020. The Sydney, Australia native is 9-2 at No. 1 Singles, 11-2 overall and 5-0 against ranked opponents heading into the weekend.
