No. 68 Women’s Tennis Unable To Keep Up With No. 56 SMU

DALLAS, Texas — The 68th-ranked University of Tulsa women's tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss Saturday to conference foe No. 56 SMU (10-7) in Dallas.
The loss drops the Golden Hurricane to 11-7 on the year.
Tulsa dropped the doubles point as SMU pulled away with a 6-0 sweep at the No. 2 position and a 6-2 decision at the No. 3 position, leaving the No. 1 spot unfinished.
In singles play, the Mustangs grabbed straight-set victories in the second, third and fourth positions to seal and end the match at 4-0.
Tulsa will end its one-month road stretch on Tuesday, Apr. 4, against No. 21 Kansas (12-4).
