Tulsa Golfers Place 14th at Mountain View Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. –– The Tulsa women's golf team finished in 14^th place on Sunday at the 54-hole Mountain View Collegiate with a final score of 892. The Golden Hurricane carded its best round of the tournament with a 6-over par 294 score at the par-72 Preserve Golf Club.

Sophomore Grace Kilcrease turned in a 40^th place finish with a score of 221 after today's 1-over par 73, while junior Sydney Seigel had a round of 74 and finished with a 222 score for 45^th place.

Jenni Roller placed 61^st overall with a total score of 227 after a round of 75. Redshirt freshman Allyn Stephens finished in 67^th place with a score of 229. Graduate transfer Sirah Steinhoff turned in the best round of the day for the Hurricane with an even-par 72 but finished at 232 in 74^th place for the 54 holes.

Tulsa's fellow American Athletic Conference member South Florida captured the team title with a 16-under par score of 848. Texas A&M (852), Houston (860), Iowa State (863) and Arkansas (863) rounded out the top five teams.

Tulsa will be in action at The Bruzzy in Ardmore, Oklahoma, March 30-31.
