
Tulsa Golfers Tee-Off at The Bruzzy Saturday

ARDMORE, Okla. – The Tulsa women's golf team will be back in action this weekend at The Bruzzy on the par-70 Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club. The 54-hole event will begin on Saturday with 36 holes followed by the final 18 holes on Sunday.
The 13-team field includes Arkansas, Charlotte, FIU, Kent State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Purdue, UTSA, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Wisconsin and host North Texas.
Tulsa goes into The Bruzzy with sophomores Grace Kilcrease and Jenni Roller, juniors Sydney Seigel and Lovisa Gunnar and redshirt freshman Allyn Stephens.
A year ago, Tulsa placed second at The Bruzzy with an 858 total score as the Hurricane had three golfers place among the top-10 individuals, including a first place performance by Lilly Thomas, Gunnar in fourth and Kilcrease in 10th place.
This season, Kilcrease has a team-best 72.7 stroke average in seven tournaments, followed by Stephens with a 72.9 stroke average in eight events. Seigel, Roller and Gunnar are next with 73.1, 73.8 and 73.9 stroke averages, respectively.
