Tulsa Rowers Host Creighton Saturday at 9 AM

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa rowing team will host the Creighton Bluejays on Saturday morning on the Verdigras River at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest in Catoosa, Okla.
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with the Varsity 4 followed by the +2nd Varsity 8+ race at 9:20 a.m., Varsity 8+ at 9:40 am and the 3rd Varsity 8+ race at 10 a.m. race. The Golden Hurricane will have three boats in the Varsity 4+ race, but one boat each in the final three races.
"This weekend's race will be a great opportunity to show our fans, family and friends what we have been working towards. It's also senior day so it will be special to honor them in front of the home crowd," said Tulsa Head Coach Brandon Campbell.
"We felt pretty good about how we started the season a few weeks ago. This weekend is a chance to continue to build on our last race. We came home from Oklahoma City and identified a few areas we wanted to improve on, so this weekend we will see if we are able to do just that."
