Tulsa Women Host Illinois Thursday in Quarterfinals of the WBIT

The winner advances to the WBIT Final Four in Indianapolis
TULSA, Okla. –– A trip to the WBIT Final Four will be on the line this Thursday as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane hosts the Illinois Fighting Illini of the Big 10 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in quarterfinal round action. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
Game tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth (ages 2-12). Fans can go online at TulsaHurricane.com or can purchase tickets by phone at 918-631-4688 or in-person at the TU athletic ticket office from 8:30-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday.

Tulsa (25-9) defeated the SEC's Arkansas Lady Razorbacks, 80-62, in first round WBIT action and took down the Big East's Georgetown Hoyas on Sunday by a score of 73-61. Illinois (16-15) advanced to the quarterfinal round with wins over Missouri State, 74-69, and Stony Brook, 79-62.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Tulsa and Illinois in women's basketball.
The winner will advance to the WBIT Final Four at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, for the semifinals on Monday, April 1, and the inaugural championship game on Wednesday, April 3.
All quarterfinal round WBIT games will be televised on ESPN+, while the semifinals will be on ESPNU, and the finals will be aired on ESPN2. Additional WBIT information can be found on ncaa.com/WBIT.
