TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa men's soccer team hosts ORU on Tuesday for the 29th Mayor's Cup at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium. Then on Saturday, TU heads to Creighton for another matchup with the Bluejays.

Kickoff against RV/#24 ORU is set for 7 p.m. in a match that will air on ESPN+.

Fans unable to attend the action in person can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball games. ESPN+ is offered at $10.99/month or $109.99/year. To subscribe, go to plus.espn.com. Fans will be able to access ESPN+ content only after they have subscribed.

Tulsa (1-3-0) holds a 24-3-1 series lead over the visiting Golden Eagles (2-2-1) and have not lost at home since 2005. ORU came away with a rare 1-0 win in the series a year ago and will attempt to win two in a row for the first time in program history.

Creighton (2-1-2) holds a 21-12-4 advantage over the Hurricane in their series, but it's been a tight series as of late, with Tulsa going 2-2-1 in the past five meetings. The teams ended each other's seasons in back-to-back years in 2021 and 2022, and the 2019 2-1 Creighton win went into double overtime before the Bluejays found a winner. Last season's matchup finished in a scoreless draw.

The Golden Hurricane has five players tied for the team lead in points with two. Four different goal scorers have found the net this season in Wes Bottenburg, Alvaro Torrijos, Camilo Vargas and Ander Bengoetxea. Ian Belong has picked up a pair of assists for his two points.

Senior Alex Lopez was back in net for Tulsa's game at Missouri State, where he made three saves. He has nine saves across three appearances this season, with a 64.3 saves percentage.

Tulsa is looking to get back into the win column after a 1-0 loss at Missouri State on Friday. The Bears took the lead late in the first half, which proved enough in the loss. Will Applegate led the team with four shots, but as a team, Tulsa struggled to threaten Missouri Bears, failing to challenge goalkeeper Harry Townsend with a shot on goal.

ORU enters after a 1-0 loss at Central Arkansas snapped a two-game winning streak. The Eagles' Omar Mora leads the team with five goals, which ranks fifth in the country. He was last week's Summit League Player of the Week after scoring three goals in two games, including a brace against No. 24 UC Santa Barbara and the winner over Cal Poly. ORU made 11 saves against the Mustangs in the 1-0 win.

Creighton faces Grand Canyon in Phoenix on Monday night before hosting the Hurricane on Saturday. The Bluejays suffered their first loss of the season at home against No. 3 Denver 3-1 on Friday. Creighton has allowed nine goals in its first five games, with the lone shutout coming in a scoreless draw against FAU in the season opener. Freshman Gavrilo Civric and sophomore Miguel Arilla share the team lead with six points. Civric has scored a team-best three goals, while Arilla has tallied a pair of assists alongside two goals.

Kickoff for Saturday's game with Creighton is set for 6 p.m. and will air on FloSports.
